Invitation to the Holodomor Memoriam Concert
Join us on November 22, 2024, at 19:30 at the Yehudi Menuhin Forum in Bern for a special concert in memory of the Holodomor. This commemorative event, organized by the Ukrainian Society of Switzerland, brings together celebrated musicians to honor the memory of those affected by the tragic famine in Ukraine.
Program Highlights
:The evening will feature renowned works by Ukrainian composers, including:
- Mykola Lysenko – Rhapsody on Ukrainian Themes No. 2, Op. 18 “Dumka-Shumka”
- Mykola Kolessa – Three Preludes (Autumn Prelude, Fantastic Prelude, Hutsul Prelude)
- Borys Lyatoshynsky – Three Preludes Op. 38 (Shevchenko-Suite)
- Myroslav Skoryk – Poème, Allegretto, Dance, Elegy, and Carpathian Rhapsody
The concert will be performed by the esteemed violinist Vasyl Zatsikha and Swiss-Ukrainian pianist Andriy Dragan.
