Organized with the support of the Ukraine Culture Network, this free cultural program offers a unique opportunity to discover the diversity and artistic excellence of Ukraine — right in the heart of Switzerland.

Program Highlights:

🎻 May 6 | 19:30 – Great Violinists from Odesa
Yehudi Menuhin Forum Bern
Experience works by Mozart, Skoryk, Dvořák, Messiaen, and Copland, performed by violinist Alexey Semenenko and pianist Inna Firsova.

🎤 May 7 | 14:00–15:30 – Singing and Movement for Children
Led by charismatic choir conductor Tetiana Yakovchuk from Odesa, this workshop welcomes children aged 5–10 of all nationalities.

🎼 May 8 | 19:30 – The Bandura: A Ukrainian Treasure
Enjoy the sounds of the unique Ukrainian instrument, the bandura, with performances by Bandura Trio “MALVA” and a vocal trio from Odesa.

🌍May 9 | 17:30 – Open-Air Concert for Europe Day 2025
Behind the Historical Museum (or at Yehudi Menuhin Forum in case of rain)
Moderated by Ivanna Onufriichuk, the event will feature children’s choirs and musical ensembles from Odesa, Lausanne, and Basel.
Under the patronage of EU and Ukrainian ambassadors and the Mayor of Bern.

🎥 May 9 | 20:00 – Historical Feature Film “Fortress Khadjibey”
Auditorium der PH, Helvetiaplatz 2
A powerful Ukrainian-Georgian-Turkish co-production about Cossack heroism and love, filmed in Odesa.

💛 Admission to all events is free.
Voluntary donations will support humanitarian efforts through the Ukraine Culture Network and Human Front Aid, Bern.
