Concert at the Hallwyl Palace in Stockholm – a dialogue between Ukrainian and Italian music traditions, June 5 2023
In the light summer’s evening, Ihor Kolomiiets and Kyryl Sharapov, on harpischord and violin respectively, created a journey ranging from Francesco Veracini (1960–1768) to Arcangelo Corelli (1653–1713), featuring excerpts from the concert "Скорби сердца моєго," transcribed by Y. Ihnatenko.
The concert took place in the inner courtyard of the Hallwyl Palace in Stockholm, Sweden which was build by count Walther von Hallwyl and his wife Wilhelmina née Kempe. The count was born in Bern in 1839 to count Theodor von Hallwyl and Cäcilia von Im Hoff.
The Ukraine Culture Network, UCN, supported the concert, with special thanks to UCN board member Maria Söderberg.
